Severe storms in recent weeks have caused flooding in the state of Acre in Brazil. The region and city of Jordão, where many Huni Kuin live, is also badly affected.
We received various requests for support, which we would like to comply with.
The money will be passed on directly to the affected representatives of the Huni Kuin known to us and used there to replace destroyed inventory. In particular, electrical devices such as refrigerators and stoves have been destroyed by floods in many households, but are urgently needed to slowly enable everyday life again.
